After seeing Captain America: The Winter Soldier, I revisited Alan J Pakula’s 1974 paranoid classic, The Parallax View, to which Cap seems to owe something of its mood.

Bringing matters full circle, I was surprised to find, as part of the psychometric film that the Warren Beatty character is subjected to by the sinister Parallax Corporation, these two Jack Kirby Thor covers.
